Location

Originally a typical fisherman's village Isola Rossa is now a thriving seaside resort, yet the pace remains authentically unhurried, with locals and visitors relishing the slow pace of life as they sip a coffee and linge around the shops, the beach and the marina.

In Isola Rossa nightlife takes a back seat as almost everyone come here to enjoy the sandy beaches, however there are few bars with live music and during the summer the square occasionally hosts folk concerts and other perfomances.

Within easy walking distance from the town there are three main sandy beaches: The “Longa” beach, the “Femini” beach, and the “Marinedda” beach.

Other resorts that shouldn't be missed include Alghero, Stintino and Santa Teresa di Gallura.

Isola Rossa is just over an hour drive from Olbia and Alghero airport, car hire is not essential but recomendable to be able to explore the surroundings area.
