Olive Oil and Lemons
Begin your tour with a guided visit to a historic citrus grove renowned for its lemons and olive oil production. Enjoy a tasting session featuring homemade lemonade, lemon slices with sugar, lemon and orange marmalade on rusk, and extra virgin olive oil, including lemon and orange-scented varieties on homemade bread.
Provolone and Mozzarella Making
Continue to the ‘Turuziello holiday farm, where you’ll learn the art of making provolone del Monaco DOP, mozzarella cheese, and caciottine. Afterwards, savour a selection of homemade salami and provolone del Monaco, all accompanied by a good glass of local wine. The cheese is crafted from high-quality milk from Agerolese, Frizzone, and Pezzata antica breeds of cows.
Pizza Making Show Tour
Head to Ristorante da Francesco in the historic centre of Schiazzano for a pizza-making demonstration. Guests will receive an explanation of the process for creating traditional Neapolitan pizza and will have the chance to make their pizza using dough balls prepared earlier. The meal is rounded off with wine, dessert, and coffee.
Limoncello Time
Conclude your tour by returning to the historic citrus grove to taste limoncello as a digestif. The family recipe will be explained, adding a personal touch to this delightful experience.
