Overview

#WHERE IS IT - Sant'Agata sui due Golfi is a small village of the Sorrento Peninsula. The name translates as "Sant'Agata on the two gulfs", the Gulfs of Naples and Salerno, in an area known for its beauty.

Closer to Sorrento, Sant'Agata sui due Golfi has direct buses to Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi.

#BEST VIEW POINT - The Monastero del Deserto (or Monastery of San Paolo) sits on the highest point of Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi. From the terrace, you can enjoy the area's most beautiful panorama. The place is so beautiful that it has been praised by writers like Stendhal, Nietzsche, and Goethe.

#WALK TO SORRENTO - A nice walk with a great view of the Gulf of Naples.

The path is all downhill and has a lot of steps. You'll be in Sorrento in less than an hour if you walk at a relaxed pace. You can take the bus back to S.Agata if you don't want to hike back down the same road.

#FARM VISIT - Agriturismo il Turuziello is a family-run farm that started producing cheeses in the early 1900s, like Mozzarella, Caciotte, Caciocavalli, and most notably Provolone del Monaco DOP, which is still made using the original recipes passed down from father to son.

#DINING -

Don Alfonso 1890. This beautiful two-starred restaurant in the centre of Sant'Agata is home to one of the most famous culinary families in Italy.

Lo Stuzzichino. Mimmo De Gregorio always makes you feel welcome at his restaurant, where you'll enjoy authentic cuisine made with only the best ingredients from the Amalfi Coast.

Relais Blu. The Michelin restaurant Relais Blu is nestled between the rocks and the sea and offers one of the most beautiful and evocative terraces of the Sorrento Peninsula.
