Head to the lookout as soon as you arrive, before you even check in to your room. You can get there by taking the low and deep staircase that starts from the swimming pool and goes through the olive trees.

From there, the view is great: in front of the Paceco lake, with the sea and the Egadi islands in the background; on the right is Mount Erice and its medieval village; on the left, beyond the stretch of salt pans that connect Trapani to Marsala, on clear days you can also see Stagnone, Isola Lunga and Mozia. Then, there's a bunch of gentle hills surrounding the area, and they're all covered in vineyards and olive trees.

Welcome to Baglio Soria, a charming relais recently inaugurated in the countryside of Trapani: only eleven rooms obtained from the restoration of a seventeenth-century rural settlement - the Baglio -, nestled in a 110-hectare property.

If the architecture is inspired by the past, with testimony and memory of the history of the place, then the comfort and decor are perfectly suited to the times: generous spaces and, for the furnishings, natural materials, neutral colours, and warm lights. From their mix comes the welcoming and relaxing atmosphere that makes this elegant country house the ideal location for a relaxing stay, and the base from which to explore the surroundings.

11 spacious, bright, and tastefully furnished rooms. The furniture is made of natural materials, neutral colours and warm lights.

Each room has its own terrace that overlooks either the sea or the lemon grove, depending on the type of room.

Family can choose to stay in one the apartments hosting up to 4 people.

The experience continues in the restaurant, where the chef reinterprets tradition with the right amount of flair and creativity.

The wine cellar is a strong point, and it offers a careful selection of Italian and French wines alongside the entire range of Firriato labels. The service is accurate, and they pay attention to every detail, from food combinations to serving temperatures to the type of glass.

For wine lovers, there are tasting courses, visits to vineyards and cellars, and even the opportunity to participate in the grape harvest.

The place has a big terrace with an amazing sea view, and it's all decked out in Mediterranean style with lots of coastal influences.
