Overview

Bright, modern bedrooms, an attractive restaurant and a seriously inviting spa are the result of a recent refurbishment of the Turin Palace Hotel, housed in a grand building that dates back to 1850.

Conveniently placed for the airport bus stop and station, the hotel is just a short stroll from many of the attractions of one of Italy’s most attractive, but frequently overlooked, northern cities.

Expect a warm welcome from a team of friendly and professional staff who will go out of their way to help with local advice and recommendations.

Rooms

Bedrooms are stylish and spacious, ranging in size from 24 to 38m², all with fabulous bathrooms. Triple and family rooms are available and some of the rooms on the upper floors have a large terrace.

Rooms are stylishly furnished, with light wooden flooring, large draped windows and pastel-shaded fabrics. Flat screen TV’s, indulgent bathroom treats and a desk and armchair or sofa are standard.

Dining

Les Petites Madeleines restaurant is one of the cornerstones of the city's dining scene, Chef Stefano Sforza proposes a creative menu of the best Piedmontes culinary tradition.

Agnolotti del Plin with roasted meat sauce, spaghetti with tomato sauce, lamb, cauliflower, cod, desserts of unusual combinations (hazelnuts and kiwis, chocolate and vermouth). The proposals may not be captivating or evocative but the palate follows the taste and in the end you will be very satisfied.

From fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurts, croissants, juices and a wide array of teas and coffees, plus hot dishes like eggs any style, pancakes and porridge the morning breakfast is everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel and the Turin Palace does not disappoint.

Map

Kick off your stay in Turin with a cappuccino at the glittery Caffè San Carlo, the perfect introduction to this elegant city of coffee houses and chocolate shops. Art nouveau cafés and tree-lined boulevards set the scene but dotted amongst them there are Roman monuments, baroque palaces and squares, the exquisite Palazzo Reale, the Museo Egizio and, the only example of Renaissance style architecture in the city, Turin’s cathedral.

Shops, art galleries, football and Fiat all play their part and Top Gear fans will undoubtedly want to stop by Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile.

The hotel is a short stroll from most of the city centre attractions and its proximity to Turin’s main station makes it easy to combine a stay in Turin with another city.
