Kolfuschgerhof makes sense when you want the Dolomites to be part of the hotel experience as well as the day’s outing. Its position beyond central Colfosco, facing the Sella mountains, combines substantial spa facilities with rooms and suites that reward time spent at the hotel.

We particularly recommend it to couples looking for a summer or autumn stay with walking, food and relaxation in balance. Families can also be accommodated in selected layouts, with the room and spa arrangements checked for their ages.

Classic

Approximately 25–27 m², with traditional wood interiors. Some have a balcony and others do not, so we specify this before you choose.

Executive and Prestige

Executive rooms offer more space; the Prestige choices vary by outlook and layout. Some Prestige accommodation has separate areas or two floors. We confirm the exact configuration, especially for families.

Wellness Suite

Approximately 64 m², with separate spaces, an in-room sauna and a private whirlpool on the balcony. It is worth considering when private spa time is a major reason for the holiday.

Other signature suites

Junior, Tower and Penthouse suites are individual choices, not interchangeable upgrades. Tell us whether views, extra bedrooms or outdoor space matter most, and we will compare the relevant options.

Leave time for the garden and spa

The outdoor wellness garden includes a heated infinity pool, a sauna chalet and relaxation areas looking towards the mountains. Together with the indoor facilities, it gives the stay an appeal beyond a daily walking itinerary.

Hotel dining and the wine selection make evenings here part of the experience. We explain which meals are included and arrange any special dining separately. A mountain-hut lunch or guided walk can be added according to your interests and the seasonal programme.

Car-free requires a hotel-level plan

Rail can take you towards South Tyrol, followed by a road journey into Alta Badia. We normally arrange the final transfer for a car-free stay, rather than leaving the last stage with luggage to chance.

Once here, the hotel’s position is different from staying in central Corvara or La Villa. We check access to suitable buses, any hotel transport and the walks you want to do before recommending a car-free plan. Village evenings and the return journey deserve the same attention as daytime excursions.

A hire car is useful for independent sightseeing across the valleys. It can be used only for the mountain stage, with rail or transfers for other parts of the holiday.

Lakeside days before the mountains

Lake Garda offers a clear change of scenery, with the selected lakeside property determining the best route. Verona can add an art-city stay on a longer holiday.

We usually begin with two bases over 10–14 nights. A third stop is possible when it adds something worthwhile without taking too much time from the lake and mountains.
