Look across the vines towards the sea, start the day with a leisurely breakfast and choose between the pool and the coast. La Foresteria brings together the pleasures of Menfi’s wine country and the beaches of south-west Sicily.

A Planeta tasting, dinner at the estate and a day at Insula Beach Club give you plenty to enjoy close by. Drive out to Selinunte’s temples, Sciacca or the hill town of Sambuca, then return for another evening among the gardens.

We recommend four or five nights, with time to explore and a day left free for the hotel and coast.

After breakfast, head to Selinunte or the coast, or enjoy another hour in the gardens before a swim.

The pool looks out over the surrounding landscape. Return from a morning exploring for a swim and time on a lounger before the evening begins.

A tasting introduces the Planeta wines, while dinner brings another chance to enjoy Sicilian flavours. We can arrange food and wine experiences around your interests.

Insula Beach Club at Lido Fiori

A reserved place at Insula Beach Club is included for La Foresteria guests. Follow the path through coastal greenery to the sandy shore, with the club’s restaurant and lounge bar close by.

Enjoy a beach day between outings to Selinunte, Sciacca and the Menfi wineries. We will check the club’s opening dates when planning your stay.

The coast is around 5 km away by road. Arrange a car or transfer for your beach day.

Visit Selinunte’s ancient temples, stroll around Sciacca or drive into the hills to Sambuca. Menfi’s beaches and Porto Palo add days close to the sea.

Follow a Palermo city break with time here, or combine Menfi with Trapani, Marsala, San Vito Lo Capo or Agrigento.
