Even the name of certain places smells of beauty, like Corte degli Aromi. A splendid Masseria that smacks of antiquity.

Two main buildings make up Corte degli Aromi, separated by a large open courtyard. A sumptuous wooden portal, embraced by the fragrances of aromatic plants, leads to the courtyard.

It's the best place to be pampered by a luxury never ostentatious for the sake of being ostentatious, but is the essence of beauty and pleasure. The reception will introduce you to a room with an original eclectic style that mixes vintage and exotic, and then you'll pass through the most refined contemporary rooms.

The Fitness Center is in one wing of the farm and has modern Technogym machines for cardio workouts. The centre is open 24/7 and has everything you need to make your fitness experience great and unforgettable.

All physical activities happen in the complex by the swimming pool. It's got well-kept turf and lots of vegetation with comfortable wooden sun loungers.

The seven extra-luxury suites at Corte degli Aromi are named after the different aromatic species that grow in the gardens of the farm. The farm's hospitality is top-notch -- each suite comes with a personal spa complete with emotional shower, Turkish bath, Finnish sauna, and Jacuzzi.

There's also a garden and private pool for exclusive use. Suites and gardens have a taste that blends retro and modern elements together nicely.

The Corte degli Aromi has great Mediterranean food, with ingredients grown in the organic garden and picked by the chefs to create delicious dishes.

You can enjoy these dishes in summer, gazing at the stars, or in winter, sipping a good glass of wine in the dining room.

There is an elegant cocktail bar, where you can enjoy delicious international drinks or have them customised to your taste. It's a pleasure to sip them by the pool or on the old farmyard sofa, in a relaxing and special environment.

Palmariggi is a town in Salento, just 8 km from Otranto. It is part of the "Authentic Villages of Italy" Association. There's a naturalistic area called "Serra di Montevergine" with rich vegetation, including a vast pine forest and Mediterranean scrub, outside of town.

The historic centre is full of palaces and ancient churches that show the dominance of different peoples over the years, like the Byzantines and Aragonese. In summer, the centre gets pretty crowded with tourists.
