Sabrina and Claudia make the welcome personal, with local recommendations and homemade treats at breakfast. Between visits, the terrace and lounge are inviting places to read, relax and watch the changing light on the water.

Ortigia is around twenty minutes away on level ground. We recommend La Giuggiulena for travellers who enjoy walking, exploring independently and returning to a small, welcoming place beside the sea.

Direct access to the rocky shore makes swimming part of the stay for confident swimmers. The historic centre, restaurants and archaeological sights provide plenty to explore beyond the B&B.

Allow around twenty minutes to walk to Ortigia. Sea access is from rocks, so swimming here suits confident swimmers who are comfortable on a natural shoreline.

RECOMMENDED STAY

Three nights, or four to five to explore further

Three nights allow time for Ortigia, the archaeological park and the sea. Four or five leave room for a day in Noto or the countryside, with relaxed mornings in between.

The Superior Room is on the lower floor, with lift access and a balcony looking directly over the sea. It is a lovely choice for couples who want the water close at hand.

The room accommodates two, with a double or twin beds. Its balcony gives you a place to enjoy the view between visits to Ortigia.

In the adjacent villa, the King Room has a sea view and an internal spiral staircase leading to its private roof terrace, with loungers, an outdoor shower and wide views.

The room has no balcony; its outdoor space is upstairs. Breakfast is served in the main villa.
