A car-free base with the island within reach

La Madonnina is on Via Salvatore Girardi, along the coast east of central Casamicciola. Main island buses stop outside, and taxis can be arranged for evening restaurants or more secluded places.

Where schedules allow, a ferry or hydrofoil arriving directly at Casamicciola gives the shortest onward journey. Services arriving at Ischia Porto also work well, followed by a private transfer or taxi along the coast.

Explore without a car using buses for Ischia Porto, Casamicciola, Lacco Ameno and Forio, and arranged transfers for gardens, walking routes or evening reservations.
