Time together in wine country
Couples can enjoy garden suites and private outdoor spaces; families have larger suites and villas for time together.
Follow a path between vines and lava-stone terraces, taste the estate’s wines and settle beside the pool with the sea in the distance. Monaci delle Terre Nere brings you into Etna’s landscape, with restored rural buildings scattered among gardens and orchards.
Spend a day exploring the volcano with a guide, visit Taormina or drive into the Alcantara Valley. Back at the estate, there is time for a long lunch, a swim and dinner shaped by the produce grown around you.
A hire car gives the most freedom for exploring. Transfers and guided outings can also be arranged, and the hotel offers a complimentary Taormina shuttle by advance reservation.
We recommend four nights for Etna, a wine experience and time to enjoy the estate. A longer stay leaves more days for the coast, villages and your own garden or pool.

Three or four nights for Etna, wine and time at the estate.
Garden breakfasts, estate wines and afternoons by the pool.

For two, choose a Junior Suite with a garden or terrace, or a Signature Suite for more living space.

Deluxe Rooms offer 28–30 m², a king-size bed and a secluded garden. These doubles have no television, leaving more time for the landscape and each other.
