Village life above the sea

Hotel Margherita stands in the upper part of Praiano, with Positano to the west and Amalfi to the east. The hotel shuttle helps with journeys into the village and towards Marina di Praia beach.

We can arrange a private transfer from Naples Airport or railway station. For days along the coast, combine the hotel shuttle with local buses, taxis, private drivers and seasonal boat services. Private parking is available for self-drivers.

Nearby highlights include Marina di Praia and Cala della Gavitella, the Fiord of Furore, the Emerald Grotto at Conca dei Marini and access towards the Path of the Gods. Positano and Amalfi are natural day trips, but Praiano also rewards quieter time in the village and evenings back at the hotel.

Praiano’s lanes, stairways and hillside paths reward time on foot. Choose one main outing each day and leave space for a swim or a quiet evening in the village.
