Three different settings, with a full week by the lake

Begin in Venice, spend four nights among the villages and vineyards of the Prosecco Hills, then settle in Malcesine for seven nights on Lake Garda. Art, food and scenery give the holiday its shape; walking and cycling can be added in whatever measure you enjoy.

This combination suits couples of all ages who want a varied fortnight without moving every few days. The hotels are part of the reason to go, with time to enjoy them between outings.

YOUR ROUTE

Venice 3 nights · Follina 4 nights · Malcesine 7 nights = 14 nights. Keep Venice car-free, then collect a hire car for the hills and the journey to Garda. We can discuss a version with drivers and planned local outings if you prefer not to drive.

Venice: three nights for art and discovery

Ca’ Maria Adele, near the Salute church in Dorsoduro, is the starting point. We arrange the arrival transfer and choose a room around your preferences.

A private walking introduction can help you get your bearings. Then choose a gallery visit, time around the smaller squares and a cicchetti stop, leaving room to explore without an appointment every few hours.

We book agreed museum visits around opening days and ticket availability. Any specialist activity on the water needs a suitable licensed operator and a confirmed route; it is not a standard promise of unrestricted canal access.

Follina: four nights in the Prosecco Hills

Collect the car after leaving Venice, at a convenient location agreed in the plan. Travel to Villa Abbazia in Follina, where the village setting puts the abbey close at hand and the surrounding hills within reach.

The hotel’s rooms differ in character, layout and outlook. We compare the actual category and building rather than assuming a vineyard view. A Deluxe Room can be a starting point for the proposal.

Use the stay for a cellar appointment, village visits and leisurely lunches. Cison di Valmarino and Asolo can be considered as separate outings, with enough time left for Follina itself.

We can arrange a driver for wine-tasting days. Cycling is optional: the hills involve climbs and descents, so we match an e-bike outing to your ability and confidence rather than treating it as an effortless route for everyone.

Malcesine: seven nights on Lake Garda

Continue to Hotel Castello Lake Front in Malcesine for a longer final stay. A week gives you time for the town, boat trips and days when the hotel and lake are the main event.

A lake-view Junior Suite is one option. We confirm the building, room layout and outside space, distinguishing the main hotel from the separate Living Suite accommodation and a French balcony from a balcony you can sit on.

Choose a boat journey around the operating timetable, explore Malcesine’s lanes and castle, or take the cable car towards Monte Baldo when conditions suit. Going up for a view and setting out on a mountain walk are different choices; we plan the latter around your stamina and experience.

Water activities and guided cycling can be added if you want them. They remain optional, leaving plenty of time for meals by the water and a slower day.

Travel that fits the holiday

The hire period starts after Venice, not on the first day of the holiday. We agree collection, parking at each hotel, the final airport and car return before quoting. If you choose drivers instead, we include a realistic plan for local visits in the hills and around the lake.

Summer and early autumn offer different reasons to travel. We check boat and lift schedules for your dates, and plan alternatives for weather-dependent outings.
