Nerano, located halfway between the Amalfi Coast and the Sorrento Coast, is the perfect place to relax and unwind.
The small town, guarded by its borders, basks blissfully in the sun. Now it's just tourism and silence, but it used to be home to great emperors and mythical temples. Nerano's named after Roman Emperor Tiberio Nerone, who liked to hang out around here.
The place is still beautiful after all these years, and the sea is so clear and full of different kinds of sea life that it was made a protected marine area in 1997.
Nerano is also home to historical architecture, like the small Church of San Salvatore and other chapels in the area, as well as high-level gastronomy that has given Italy the fabulous Spaghetti alla Nerano. Have you heard of it?
