The ExpertoItaly view

Choose it for the estate, gardens and pool

Villa Cattani Stuart suits a holiday that alternates cultural outings with afternoons in the gardens. The nine-hectare estate combines formal planting, woodland, olive groves and a panoramic pool, with Pesaro and the coast available as outings.

The historic villa supplies the heritage and frescoed rooms that guests can visit by arrangement. Bedrooms occupy the newer adjoining hotel building. That distinction matters: we recommend the property for the pleasure of its surroundings and comfortable accommodation, with the historic interiors adding interest to the stay.

Our starting point: Four to seven nights in a Superior with a confirmed balcony, or a Junior Suite with terrace if available.

Planning your stay

Is Villa Cattani Stuart right for you?

Best for

Couples and mature self-drive travellers

Gardens, pool time and visits to Pesaro, Fano, Urbino and Gradara. The hotel welcomes guests aged 14 and over.

Atmosphere

A country estate near the coast

The beach and town are reached by road. The setting is well suited to leaving several afternoons free.

Active stays

Credible cycling support

Secure storage, a workshop and washing facilities, with arrangements for guides and bike hire. Rides can be fitted around cultural visits.

Practical trade-offs

Transport and events

A car is our usual recommendation. Taxis and organised outings are possible; we check the event calendar and any mobility requirements before booking.

Rooms and suites

Comfortable bedrooms beside the historic villa

The bedroom photographs show the actual hotel accommodation. The villa’s frescoed salons are part of a visit to the historic building, rather than a promise of frescoes in every bedroom.

For a shorter stay

Comfort · 21 m²

A practical room for guests prioritising the gardens, pool and days out. Modern comforts include air conditioning and soundproofing.

Our starting point

Superior · 24 m²

A balcony with a park or sea outlook makes this a useful couples’ choice. We confirm the preferred outlook; the category does not guarantee a front sea view.

For more space

Junior Suite · 30 m²

Extra room for a longer stay. Only some have a terrace, so outdoor space must be requested and confirmed specifically.

Morning

A generous breakfast

Sweet and savoury choices include local produce and homemade cakes and biscuits, with outdoor tables in suitable weather.

At the property

Pool, paths and historic rooms

The unheated seasonal pool has loungers, parasols and towels. Estate paths offer gentle walks, while a visit to the restored villa frescoes can be arranged.

Dinner

A restaurant nearby

The hotel advertises a partner restaurant around 50 metres away. We check opening days when planning the stay. Pesaro offers further options by car or taxi; there is no regular full dinner restaurant within the hotel.

Location and getting around

A hillside base with Pesaro and the sea as outings

Trebbiantico is around 4.5 km from central Pesaro and approximately 2.5 km from the sea. A car makes the location work easily for beach outings, local restaurants and cultural visits, with free estate parking and electric-car charging advertised.

A stay using private transfers and taxis is possible, particularly if you want to spend much of the time on the estate. We would budget and organise those journeys in advance. Tell us if gradients, paths or room access could affect your stay.

Where it fits

Give each stay a distinct role

Choose the contrast that interests you; ExpertoItaly will plan the route, transport and length of stay around it.

Le Marche

Coast, country & art cities

Le Marche

Choose a second base in Ascoli Piceno or on the Conero coast for a meaningful change from the Pesaro hills.

Ravenna

Mosaics & a cultural opening

Ravenna

A short mosaic-focused city stay combines well with several slower days at the villa; a car suits the Marche stage.

Bologna

Food & city evenings

Bologna

Start with food markets and porticoes, then move south for gardens, swimming and independent touring by car.

A practical pace

Seven nights suit this as a single base. For ten to fourteen nights, add one contrasting stay. The Excelsior is usually an alternative for guests prioritising the lido and town life, rather than a necessary additional Pesaro stop.
