Overview

Combining the historic charm of a 16 th century palazzo with innovative and quirky design features, the Hotel Heureka is the ideal destination for lovers of opulent interiors who are searching for the chance to feel like royalty for a weekend (or even longer!).

The property itself is surrounded by charming canals (you are recommended to arrive by water taxi if travelling with a lot of luggage!) and is situated in the north-western Sestiere of Cannaregio – one of Venice’s liveliest districts. So, as a guest at the Heureka, you have a multitude of exciting sights right on your doorstep.

From the oldest Jewish ghetto in the world to the Church and Great School of Santa Maria della Misericordia, the churches of the Madonna dell’Orto (with masterpieces by Tintoretto) to a plethora of quaint trattorias and taverns where you can sample delicious local delicacies, there’s plenty to explore in this buzzing neighbourhood, safe in the knowledge you’re just a short walk away from the tranquil oasis of the Heureuka, where you can take a bubble bath in one of the hotel’s plush, perfectly appointed bathrooms, and sip aperitivi under the stars in the intimate walled garden.

Rooms

The most sort after suite in the entire hotel is the Heureka suite, which with a maximum number of 6 guests, is the perfect place to treat the whole family to a palatial Venetian holiday.

Only available on request, this grandiose series of rooms overlooks the the quiet canal of the Madonna dell’Orto, and is filled with quintessential Venetian design features including a Murano glass chandelier, fine fabrics and hand made furniture.

Or, if you’re looking for something smaller, for a more intimate visit to Venice, why not book into one of Heureka’s Deluxe rooms, which the hotels states proudly are decorated with “a dash of eccentricity.”

They’re also renowned for their refined and sumptuous bathrooms, so they are the perfect place to indulge in a decadent bubble bath after a long day exploring the city.

Dining

Whilst Heuraka doesn’t have its own restaurant, quick meals are available from the bar, including snacks and seasonal salads. Pair these light bites with one of the many options from the drinks menu – of course including the traditional Venetian aperitif, Aperol Spritz - which the bartender will help you navigate with their expert knowledge.
