Traditional country villa near Salemi
A restored Western Sicily country house for two families or a multigenerational group, with five upstairs bedrooms, a separate annexe and a heated 12-metre pool.

Villa Nasoric’s real strength is its two-part arrangement. The main house provides three bedrooms and the adjoining annexe has a further two bedrooms and its own sitting room. Two families, or grandparents travelling with parents and children, can share the garden, pool and outdoor meals without having to occupy the same part of the house throughout the day.
The mature 3,000 m² garden, 200 m² of terraces and heated saltwater pool create the principal sense of occasion. The interiors are traditional and decorative rather than contemporary, while the countryside position near Salemi makes this a base for exploring Western Sicily by car rather than a walkable town or beach stay.
Best for: two families, multigenerational groups able to manage stairs, or friends who value shared space more than identical bedroom arrangements. It is less suitable for guests seeking step-free bedrooms, a private bathroom for every couple, sea views or restaurants within a comfortable evening walk.

Before you choose it
Three bedrooms in the main house and two in the annexe give each branch of the group some independence. The annexe also has its own sitting room, so the arrangement offers more useful separation than five bedrooms placed along one corridor.
There is one king-size double, two further doubles and two twin rooms. All five bedrooms are upstairs. Three shower rooms serve the bedrooms and a fourth bathroom is on the ground floor; no bedrooms are confirmed as en suite.
Salemi’s shops and restaurants are about 4 km away and the coast is approximately 35 km from the villa. This is a driving base for Western Sicily, not a beach villa or a property designed for evenings on foot.
The heated saltwater pool measures 12 × 6 metres and is approximately 1.20–2.50 metres deep. No fenced children’s section is stated, so families with young or uncertain swimmers need close supervision.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
Main house · three bedrooms
The first floor of the main house contains the three bedrooms and two shower rooms. On the ground floor are the living room, dining room, masonry kitchen, an additional sitting room and the villa’s fourth bathroom.
Annexe · two bedrooms
The adjoining annexe places both bedrooms, its shower room and sitting room on the first floor. It works well for one family or one generation wanting a little more privacy, but it does not provide ground-floor sleeping accommodation.
Time at the villa
Villa Nasoric earns its place in a Western Sicily itinerary by making unstructured days easy: there is enough outdoor space for a larger group to spread out, while the pool, terraces and traditional interiors create several natural places to come together.
The 12 × 6 metre pool is heated to approximately 25°C and scheduled to open from early April until 10 November, extending the villa’s appeal beyond the main summer weeks.
Approximately 3,000 m² of lawn, palms, olive trees and established planting give the pool area privacy and the group ample room to spend time outdoors.
The pergola, barbecue and furnished terraces support breakfasts, long lunches and evening meals at the villa without everyone needing to eat out each day.
The masonry kitchen includes a five-burner gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, two fridges and a freezer. A cook can be arranged for an additional charge.
The main house has a living room with fireplace, separate dining room and second sitting room, while the annexe adds another sitting room for a quieter branch of the group.
A breakfast welcome basket, midweek cleaning and bath-towel change are included. Extra housekeeping, a cook and transfers can be requested at an additional charge.
Villa amenities
Location
Villa Nasoric lies outside Salemi among the softer agricultural landscapes of inland Western Sicily. Salemi provides cafés, shops and everyday services, while nearby Gibellina introduces an unexpected strand of contemporary art and architecture.
From the villa, different days can be shaped around Segesta, Marsala, Trapani, Erice and Selinunte. The coast is reachable, but it is not on the doorstep; the real advantage is the variety between archaeology, wine country, salt-pan landscapes, historic towns and occasional beach or island days.

From the villa
Villa Nasoric works best when pool days are balanced with a small number of purposeful outings. These guides help you choose which parts of the west genuinely improve the week rather than turning it into a daily drive.
Town, coast and salt landscape
Combine the historic centre and sea walls with either the salt pans or Erice. Trying to add an Egadi crossing to the same day makes the outing unnecessarily compressed.
Island day
Favignana is the most straightforward independent choice, reached by ferry from Trapani or Marsala. Timetables, sea conditions and the group’s appetite for a full day out should decide whether to include it.
Wine, beach and archaeology
Selinunte can anchor a southern outing, with lunch by the coast or wine country around Menfi. It works best as a deliberate day rather than being combined with several other ancient sites.
Wider route
For a 10–14-night holiday, combine Villa Nasoric with no more than one principal second base. Palermo, the Egadi Islands, Menfi or the Agrigento coast can each work, but they create different travel rhythms.
