A busy maritime town with the cathedral, cafés and a beach close to its centre. Its ferry hub makes other coastal towns accessible in season. Choose its energy and practical connections, or visit from one of our selected hotels further along the coast.
Stepped lanes lead past boutiques and restaurants to the main beach. It suits couples who enjoy a lively evening and families with confident walkers. A terrace adds a welcome private place to pause above the town.
A more spread-out village between Positano and Amalfi, with small bathing places below and terraces above. A hotel pool and nearby dining give quieter days their focus; buses, shuttles and drivers open up the rest of the coast.
High above the coast, Agerola offers village food, open views and access to walking routes. Villa Paradise Resort is an eight-room B&B here. Choose it for the hills, with occasional road trips down to the sea, rather than daily beach access.

Take a seasonal ferry between coastal towns, arrange a private boat day or spend time at a local bathing area. Return for dinner in Positano, sunset in Praiano or a quieter Agerola evening. The day’s starting point follows your base.
The Bomerano–Nocelle walk fits especially well into an Agerola stay, with transport to the start and a planned return. From Praiano, we choose between a demanding uphill approach and a transfer to Bomerano.
Amalfi brings maritime history, cathedral architecture and an active town centre. Ravello adds gardens, music and elevated views. They make a rewarding cultural outing; our named accommodation selection here is in Positano, Praiano and Agerola.
For art-led travellers, Florence can replace Rome, using high-speed rail to Naples. A city opening followed by a longer coastal stay gives each a different role.
Begin in Rome and leave a longer stretch for the coast. High-speed rail to Naples and a private road transfer connect the two, with no need for a hire car at the coast.
A stay in Naples followed by Villa Paradise combines city art and food with walking, sea views and local village life. We arrange the journey up to Agerola and transport for the coastal days you would like to include.
For a longer holiday, pair coastal walking and village evenings with Ischia’s gardens, beaches and thermal water. A private transfer to the appropriate mainland port and ferry connection make the move part of the plan.
Our two-week Amalfi Coast and Cilento example pairs Relais Blu on the Sorrento Peninsula with Marulivo in Pisciotta. We can also design a version beginning in Praiano, then collect a car for the Cilento stay.
Positano and Praiano have slopes and steps between hotels, restaurants and bathing areas. Tell us how much walking feels comfortable; we check the chosen address and arrival with luggage. Private transfers, local buses, hotel shuttles where offered and seasonal boats support most stays.
Agerola is high above the coast. Villa Paradise’s walking setting and sea views do not mean beach-level access. A coastal day requires a bus or driver down to Amalfi or another departure point, and time for the uphill return. Private parking is available for those choosing to drive.
