Private wellness villa by the sea in western Sicily

Villa Stila combines a practical four-bedroom layout with one of the most complete wellness set-ups in the ExpertoItaly villa portfolio. The outdoor pool, heated indoor pool, sauna, Turkish bath, sensory shower, massage room and rooftop hot tub give the house a clear purpose beyond summer pool days.
The setting beneath Monte Cofano is equally important. Cornino’s beach and one restaurant are close enough for an easy outing, while the garden, terraces and spa make staying at home feel like a positive choice. It works particularly well as the slower coastal stage of a western Sicily journey.
Best for: two families, a multigenerational group with older children, four couples or travellers who want private wellness facilities. It is less suitable for ten adults, guests requiring step-free access, or anyone expecting a lively resort centre on the doorstep.

Before you choose it
Eight guests sleep in four double bedrooms. The ninth and tenth places are single sofa beds inside two bedrooms, so they are better treated as flexible places for children than as equivalent accommodation for two more adults.
Two bedrooms are on the raised ground floor and two are on the lower ground floor beside the spa. Internal stairs are part of the arrangement, and no lift or step-free alternative is confirmed.
The outdoor pool includes a shallow section, while the indoor pool and rooftop hot tub add further water features. Pool fencing is not confirmed, so families with young children need close, active supervision.
Cornino’s rocky shore, sandy beach and one restaurant are nearby. Wider shopping, evening choice and western Sicily excursions still require a car; private parking is provided within the grounds.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
Raised ground floor
Two contemporary double bedrooms sit on the raised ground floor. Each has its own shower room, air conditioning, Smart TV, safe and minibar, helping four couples share the villa without a weak bedroom.
Lower ground floor
The remaining two double bedrooms are on the lower ground floor, each with an en-suite shower room and the same in-room facilities. The two extra sleeping places are sofa beds within bedrooms, not separate rooms.
Bathroom count explained: the four bedrooms each have an en-suite shower room. A guest WC, two bathrooms serving the spa and an external bathroom/shower complete the wider villa facilities.
Time at the villa
Villa Stila is designed for days that move naturally between the pool, terraces, sea and spa rather than relying on a full programme of excursions.
The private pool measures 12 × 5 metres, with depths from 0.20 to 1.40 metres. It is open throughout the year, subject to weather and normal maintenance.
The 2 × 9 metre indoor pool is heated to approximately 28°C and includes a waterfall and hydromassage features for year-round use.
The lower-ground spa continues with a sauna, Turkish bath, sensory shower and relaxation area with herbal tea facilities.
A four-seat hot tub, maintained at approximately 30°C, sits on the roof terrace with views towards the sea and Monte Cofano.
Approximately 200 m² of terraces provide shaded dining, sitting space and a close connection between the house, garden and pool.
A dedicated treatment room completes the wellness area. Massages can be requested and arranged for an additional charge.
Villa amenities
Location
Villa Stila sits in Cornino on Sicily’s north-west coast, between the sea and the limestone mass of Monte Cofano. The rocky shore is approximately 250 metres away and the local sandy beach approximately 300 metres, making an early swim or late-afternoon walk easy without turning the stay into a resort holiday.
Custonaci provides practical shops and services, while Erice, Trapani, San Vito Lo Capo, the Zingaro coast and Segesta are all realistic days out by car. Trapani also opens the route towards the salt pans and ferries for the Egadi Islands. The villa works best when excursions are selective and the spa, pool and coast are given proper time.

Villa Stila works best when the sea, spa and pool are balanced with a small number of purposeful outings. These guides help decide which days belong in the villa stay and which fit better elsewhere in a wider route.
Coast and nature
Cornino places Monte Cofano close at hand, with Macari, San Vito Lo Capo and the Zingaro coast offering very different kinds of beach and landscape day. Choose one clear purpose rather than trying to combine every stop.
Hill town and salt pans
Erice’s stone streets and elevated setting make a strong contrast with the coast. Trapani’s old town and the salt pans can join the same considered day, provided the itinerary is not overloaded.
Island day
Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo offer different landscapes and rhythms. Ferry schedules, the season and the group’s appetite for cycling, walking or boat time should decide whether an island day improves the stay.
Wider route
Segesta, Marsala, wine country and Palermo should not all become return day trips from Cornino. A stronger journey gives each part of western Sicily the right base and lets the villa provide a deliberate change of pace.
