Family villa by San Lorenzo beach
A relaxed four-bedroom villa within walking distance of San Lorenzo’s sandy beach, with sea views and easy access to Marzamemi, Vendicari and Noto.

Villa Orsi earns its place through location and practicality. San Lorenzo’s sandy beach is approximately 300 metres away, while four bedrooms, four bathrooms and generous private outdoor space make the villa particularly useful for two families or a multigenerational group.
A week here can move easily between the beach, the small pool and the sea-facing terraces, with Marzamemi, Vendicari, Noto and Siracusa adding purposeful days out. The 140 m² house is relatively compact and has one principal indoor living area, so the holiday is shaped mainly by its terraces, garden and coastal setting.
Best for: two families, a multigenerational family or friends who value a walkable sandy beach and want to explore the Baroque south-east by car. The small pool and externally accessed first-floor bedroom need to suit the group.

Before you choose it
Three bedrooms are together on the ground floor, while the fourth has its own first-floor terrace and external access. This can give one couple useful independence, but it is less suitable for young children who need to sleep beside their parents.
Three bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms. The flexible twin/double bedroom uses a separate shower room, and the rooms differ in size, bed arrangement and access, so allocation should be agreed before booking.
The sandy beach is approximately 300 metres away, but Marzamemi’s restaurants and shops are around 3 km from the villa. A car remains necessary, and the final approach includes an unmade road.
The private pool measures 3 × 5 metres and is approximately 1.30 metres deep throughout. It is ideal for cooling off, but there is no stated shallow end and pool fencing has not been confirmed.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
Ground floor
The ground floor has a king bedroom with a 180 × 210 cm bed and en-suite shower, a second double with an en-suite shower, and a flexible twin/double room with two 90 × 200 cm beds and a separate shower room.
First floor
The fourth bedroom is a double with its own shower room and terrace, reached by external steps. It can suit an independent couple, grandparents comfortable with the stairs or older children; step-free access is not confirmed.
Time at the villa
Villa Orsi is designed around its terraces and garden: a small pool for cooling off, outdoor meals, broad sea views and a sandy beach close enough to reach on foot.
The 3 × 5 metre private pool sits within approximately 1,000 m² of private grounds. It is a pleasant family focus rather than a pool for serious swimming.
The upper terrace provides the villa’s broadest coastal outlook, with loungers and seating for quiet time above the main garden.
A covered veranda and dining area allow meals to remain outside while keeping the pool, garden and sea in view.
Two refrigerators, a freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave and gas hob make self-catering practical for a full group of eight.
The combined living, dining and kitchen area is bright and comfortable, but it is the villa’s only principal indoor communal room.
The built-in barbecue, outside sink and outdoor shower support straightforward meals and easy returns from the beach.

Location
Villa Orsi sits in the San Lorenzo coastal area, where the sea is part of the everyday landscape. Guests can walk approximately 300 metres to the sandy beach, return for lunch beside the pool and finish the afternoon on a terrace overlooking the coast.
With a car, the setting opens into one of south-eastern Sicily’s most rewarding clusters. Marzamemi brings harbour-side restaurants and evening atmosphere; Vendicari adds coastal walks and protected nature; Noto brings honey-coloured Baroque streets; and Siracusa makes a substantial cultural day. The pleasure lies in moving between coast and town without giving up a settled villa base.

From the villa
Villa Orsi works best when beach and pool days are protected rather than crowded out. Choose one clear focus for each excursion and leave time to return to the coast.
Coastal rhythm
Marzamemi works naturally for an evening walk and dinner, while Vendicari deserves daylight, time on foot and sensible preparation for limited shade and services.
Baroque town
Noto is close enough for an unhurried morning or late-afternoon visit. Its cathedral, streets and cafés make more sense when the day is not overloaded with several other Baroque towns.
Ancient city
Siracusa can fill a substantial day. Decide whether the priority is Ortigia’s streets and waterfront, the Greek and Roman remains at Neapolis, or a carefully paced combination.
Baroque landscape
Ragusa is the furthest of these suggested days. Start in the upper city and descend towards Ibla so the changing terrain and post-earthquake story become part of the visit.
